Hello everyone! I am excited to introduce Page Turners, the NCSLMA Grown-Up Book Club!

This idea grew from Brew Crew (if you're not attending Brew Crews, you really should - we talk about a LOT of stuff). We brainstormed and thought this format could work best for our members.

This a crowd-sourced book club. We will meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:30am with a new book at each meeting. The book titles will be submitted and voted on by people who sign up. We use rank-choice voting to decide the winner. :-)

Special Election for Region 1 Director (Mon, June 22, 2026)

NCSLMA is seeking nominations for Region 1 Director.

Per our By Laws, when a voted position is vacated before the term ends, we must hold an election to fill the position for the remainder of the term. We are officially opening nominations for a special election to fill the role of Region One Director. The remainder of the term would be through December 31st, 2026. The person chosen will be eligible to run in the election in October of 2026 for the next term ending in 2028..

A general job description can be found in our Bylaws, and more specific information about the Regional Director Term and responsibilities can be found in our Handbook.

You must be a current NCSLMA member to run for any office.

This self-nomination form is open now, and will run through June 22, 2026 and will continue being renewed until someone nominates themselves.

2026 Conference

"Finding Joy in Every Chapter!"

Conference will be held October 21-23, 2026
at the Concord Convention Center at Embassy Suites.

Due to space constraints, attendance is limited to the first 600 attendees. There will be a waitlist option.

Registration is complete when payment has been received.

May 11th - September 23rd
Regular Registration
$235 for members
$235 for out of state Associate members*
$290 for non-members
Includes lunch both days

September 24th - October 22nd
On-site Registration
$285 for members
$285 for out of state Associate members*
$340 for non-members
Meals not included
*with proof of membership to state organization

Note:
** Any registrations not paid by September 24th will be cancelled and you will have to re-register at the next rate.
You may cancel your registration by September 23rd for a fee of $25. Any cancellations after that will not be refunded.
