2024 Vendor Registration

Thank you for your interest in being a vendor and/or sponsor at NCSLMA this year! As a vendor or sponsor, you get a free membership to NCSLMA for one year. The membership will be tied to the e-mail that you use in this registration.

Set up:  Wednesday, October 2, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Thursday, October 3, 8:00 am - 5:45 pm

NCSLMA-Jama (Vendor Event):  Thursday, October 3, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Friday, October 4, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Tear Down:  Friday, October 4, 3:00 pm

The North Carolina  School Library Media Association (NCSLMA) is offering a special leadership development opportunity for school librarians to help them reach their professional potential. This program will kick-off in January and conclude with a pre-conference session at the 2021 NCSLMA annual conference. You will have an opportunity to meet and collaborate with a variety of school librarians across North Carolina, NCSLMA Board members, committee chairs and members, and join networks in your area of the state. You will learn more about being a leader in your school and district. You will also learn what NCSLMA is, what we do, and how you can be an active part of the organization.

Requirements for participants

Participate in regularly scheduled meetings

Choose a leadership activity following the program:

  • Serve on a NCSLMA committee as member or chair
  • Present at the 2021 conference
  • Other approved (Examples: design a webinar for NCSLMA, plan regional EdCamp, etc.)

In addition, it is expected that after going through the leadership academy as a participant you will

  1. mentor the next group
  2. participate in leading the program the group after that

Application Process

Applications are due October 31, 2020 at midnight. Those accepted into the program will be notified by December 10, 2020. 

Minimum Criteria

  • Currently serving in a school librarian position with a minimum of 2 years experience as a school librarian.
  • Have a Masters in Library Science that will lead to a 076 license.
  • Ability to attend the 2021 NCSLMA annual conference.
  • Ability to work virtually in throughout the program. This will include participating in and leading sessions on a variety of topics. 
  • Willingness to serve at district, region, or state level upon completion of the program.


VENDOR BOOTHS

Vendor booth payment includes - Website, Social Media, in-conference recognition, a profile in our Sched app, and inclusion in our Vendor Scavenger Hunt. Choice of vendor booth location will be first paid, first chosen. Single booth sizes are 6' deep x10' wide and include a table and 2 chairs.

  • Single booth is $1000 (double booth - $1900, triple booth - $3500)

  • September 1, 2024, is the last day to cancel your vendor booth with full refund.


A La Carte

Carpet, electrical, etc. will be handled directly through Hollins.

$150 - Attendee e-mail list
Attendee lists will be made available via Google Sheets. Lists may not be sold, gifted, or shared with anyone beyond your company. You will have access to the membership list until October 1, 2025.

$40 - One ticket to Thursday or Friday Lunch (deadline to purchase is August 15)

EXTEND YOUR PRESENCE

Prizes for Conference

Any prize donations will also receive social media recognition and advertising during the conference. We are accepting prizes for the following:

  • School Librarian of the Year

  • General Door Prizes to be given throughout and after the conference


Sponsorship Levels 

Each sponsorship includes Attendee e-mail list, two (2) session passes, website and social media recognition, an ad in our monthly newsletter, and session sponsorship. 

  • Carnivore - $2500(One ad in each newsletter for fifteen months, three session sponsorships)

  • Omnivore - $2000 (One ad in newsletter for nine months, two session sponsorships)

  • Herbivore -  $1500 (One ad in newsletter for six months, one session sponsorship)


Sponsorship Opportunities (independent of sponsorship levels)

Each opportunity includes website and social media recognition as well as advertising at the event/meal/snack and during the opening meeting

  • Session Sponsor - $500 per session (includes up to five minutes of introduction at session and your logo on the session slidedeck - You will get to choose the session(s) you sponsor - first paid, first chosen)

  • Keynote Sponsor - $3500 (includes five minutes of introduction at keynote session and your logo and company name advertised with the keynote speaker on social media)

  • Sched Sponsor - $1000 (includes your logo on the Sponsor page and at the bottom of each page)

  • NCSLMA-Jama Food Sponsor - $5,000 (this is the former vendor reception and will be a DJed party with heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar in the Dance Club)

  • NCSLMA-Jama Drink Sponsor - $3,000 

  • Friday AM Coffee and Hot Tea station - $1500

  • Friday PM Snack and Drink Station - $3000

  • Saturday AM Coffee and Hot Tea Station - $1500
