NC SCHOOL LIBRARY MEDIA ASSOCIATION |
Jennifer AbelAs a member of NCSLMA since 2011 and serving as a member of the NCSLMA executive board for the past six years, I have proven my dedication to this organization. Serving as the Treasurer for NCSLMA has allowed me to see the inner workings of annual conferences and NCSLMA and network with media coordinators across the state. I believe I would be a good candidate for president-elect with my 19 years of library experience and the network I have developed over the years as a librarian and a board member. |

Terrance FernungI have been an educator in N.C. or over 20 years. I have had experience as a fourth and fifth grade teacher, Assistant Principal, and Media Coordinator. I have been an Elementary Media Coordinator for the past four years and find it as one of the most rewarding jobs in my educational career. I also serve my school district as the District Media Lead. |
Amy RalphMy name is Amy Ralph and I have been an educator for thirteen years. This is my seventh year as a media specialist in Lexington City Schools. One of my greatest strengths is providing and planning professional development for educators. Over the last seven years I have provided monthly professional development for my staff. I have also presented at our district’s beginning of the year professional development annually . I have helped educators grow using their own expertise by presenting and or organizing Edcamps at the district, state, and national levels. I have presented at nErDcampMI three times, assisted my district in planning our own Edcamp, and I am the primary organizer and a co-founder of @nErDcampNC. I have presented at the NCSLMA annual conference five times and I was a state expert during the first year of the mentor/mentee program. Currently I am on the professional development team at the district level. I am also a member of the district technology team (I3 team). I have a passion for our profession and believe that we play a major role in supporting the students and teachers in our state. I would like to share my passion through Leadership in NCSLMA. |
